Colliers Auctions is a professional Auction House and specializes in all auctions. We have buyers and sellers all over the country and have conducted auctions for big companies, financial institutions, banks, attorneys and individuals.

Valuations:

We are professionally qualified to appraise and evaluate your immovable as well as movable assets.

Advertising:

We will create a dynamic, professional and unique advertising programme. An advertising budget will be created for each property in accordance to the value of the property.

Marketing services:

We will develop a customized marketing plan for your property, which will incorporate a comprehensive 360º communications mix. Our main aim is to maximise the property’s exposure and consequently the price achieved.

Internet and web-based marketing:

Your auction will receive exposure on our user friendly website.  Our IT department will track and research potential purchaser’s and target these individuals as well as other parties that are selected from our massive database, and notify them about the auction through e-mail and sms message services.

Brochures & leaflets:

We will produce a full colour, well-documented information pack that we will distribute directly to targeted purchasers and in response to public enquiries. Should we feel that the auction requires further local marketing we will produce leaflets to be handed out in the area to create the necessary levels of public interest and participation.

Enquiries & customer relations:

The auctioneer, as well as a company representative, will personally deal with enquiries and all clients that require further information. We will assist prospective purchasers until such time as the sale is finalised.

Showhouses & viewings:

A company representative will be at the property on showdays to assist with enquiries, build up a database and attract prospective bidders. We will also assist prospective bidders who cannot make the showdays.

On site & local advertising:

We will erect a prominent and professionally designed advertising board on the property that will attract the necessary attention from the public driving past. Street pole advertising will also be erected.  Prior to the auction, as well as on the day of the auction, we will erect pointer boards and branding in the vicinity, to attract attention to the auction.

Public relations and press:

We want to showcase your property to the general public and will therefore use our PR Department to secure favourable press releases, as well as advertise in newspapers and other publications both locally and nationally.

Commission:

Commission will be payable by the purchaser, on the day of the auction.

Mandate:

We will require you to sign a sole mandate.

The auction:

The auction will be well managed with music, exciting branding, buyer’s guides and a host of marketing paraphernalia to create a positive and enthralling bidding atmosphere. All buyers will be required to register prior to bidding on the auction. The auction will be held on the property itself or at a suitable venue close to the site.

Deposit:

On the day of the auction the Purchaser will put down a 5% deposit on the fall of the hammer. Please note that the deposits are kept in our trust account until required by the seller’s attorneys.
