Colliers Serbia officially opened the Novi Sad office, on 9th of July. Event took place at "Park" hotel in Novi sad, and we Colliers this opportunity to present our company to maximum extent to wide audience of Vojvodina, prosperous northern province of Vojvodina. We hosted a news conference attended by all important provincial media, followed by the cocktail. VIP guests and speakers at the event included Igor Pavlicic, Mayor of Novi Sad, Branislav Bugarski, Director of Vojvodina Investment Promotion (VIP) fund, as well as Jovica Jakovac, Managing Director of Colliers Serbia. Among other important municipal and provincial officials, such are directors of several building agencies of Novi Sad, we regaled Economy attache of the American Embassy in Serbia, Mr. Troy Pederson.

Igor Pavlicic, Mayor of Novi Sad, said: “I would personally like to welcome Colliers International to Novi Sad. We, as the newly appointed city administration, are fully aware of the fact that there are many infrastructural and town planning problems that cannot be solved without the engagement of foreign investors. That is where we see the benefit of having Colliers here. They know how to attract the foreign investors and present them with wide range of real estate opportunities of our city.”

Colliers Serbia also used this media conference to present latest research studies of the Serbia and Vojvodina real estate market, which turned out to be more than useful in attracting local media towards relying upon Colliers Serbia for facts and figures related to local real estate market. These information are also of use to provincial administration, as other important guest was Branislav Bugarski, Director of Vojvodina Investment Promotion (VIP) fund, said. After five years in the chair of organization responsible for attracting EUR 3.5 billion of Foreign Direct Investments to Vojvodina in the last decade.and with a lot of experience in the field of FDI, he adds: ”We see Colliers as a partner to provincial administration. Their market research studies – facts and figures, are of great importance to VIP when approaching foreign investors. They are credible, and their reports make provincial administration credible, which is a clear benefit to us.”   

Finally, Colliers presented our most important and very recently signed provincial projects, such as Park City, mixed use project in Novi sad, TQ City, a mixed use project in municipality of Indjija, and GTC Mall of Subotica, retail project in Subotica, city near the Hungarian border.
