The Crossings Shopping Center is a 44,000 square foot neighborhood shopping center located in Columbia, South Carolina. The center is anchored by a Food Lion grocery store. Colliers was engaged to lease a vacant drug store and several vacant bays. Colliers' success in handling the leasing and management for the property led to an eventual sale of the property.

Colliers' leasing services were initially required for the negotiation of a lease termination for the drug store and the re-lease of their space to a national video chain. Following lease negotiation, Colliers' leasing and property management services were utilized to bring the property to 100% occupancy and to correct deferred maintenance. Once this was complete, Colliers' investment sales services were successful in the marketing and sale of the property.
Results
Colliers provided a cadre of leasing, property management and investment sales services to return the property to excellent condition from an occupancy, economic and physical standpoint. The result was a highly marketable property that sold within 90 days of being listed. Colliers was able to locate the best possible investor who purchased the property at the highest possible price in a relatively short time frame. Colliers achieved the specific goals of the owner in the disposition of the center.
