The Pleasanton office of Colliers International opened in 1995. Although new to Colliers International, the Pleasanton office had been in operation locally since 1985. Colliers is the leading firm in the Tri-Valley Area serving Alameda, Contra Costa and San Joaquin Counties.
Local Roots, Global Capabilities
Founded in 1974, J.R. Parrish, Inc. quickly earned the respect of both clients and competition with its dedication to honesty, integrity, and delivering on promises made. That philosophy has attracted the industry's best personnel over the years. In fact, that philosophy brought the Parrish organization together with Colliers International, a global commercial real estate leader. After nearly 20 years of doing business as J.R. Parrish, Inc., the organization joined forces with Colliers, becoming an independent owner and taking the name Colliers Parrish International.
In 1998, that philosophy led to the merger of Las Vegas based Stuart-Mixer Commercial with Colliers Parrish International. Once again, a name change was in order. Now known simply as Colliers International, there are over 400 brokers, consultants and support staff in 11 offices specializing in sales, leasing, appraisal, and management of prime commercial/industrial real estate in diverse locations. Combine this elite group of professionals with the world-wide Colliers organization and there are over 15,000 professionals in more than 480 offices. Those offices are spread out across six continents, giving Colliers International an unparalleled global presence.
