CPX Interactive Expands to 71 West 23rd St. Primary Wave Expands Offices to 116 East. 16th St.
NEW YORK, June 1, 2009- Colliers ABR, Inc. a leading full service commercial real estate services firm, is pleased to announce the completion of 2 back-to-back lease transactions on behalf of two media firms specializing in online advertising and media publishing.
In the first transaction, CPX Interactive, a progressive online advertising and global marketing company has signed a 6 year lease for 6,000 square feet of space located at 71 West 23rd St, occupying part of the 9th floor.
“CPX Interactive is headquartered in Long Island, NY and has offices around the world,” said Mark Furst, Managing Director at Colliers ABR. “By expanding their offices to West 23rd St, this address will give the company a Manhattan presence and will allow the company to accommodate their growing staff. The close proximity to Penn Station was also very important to the employees at CPX Interactive.”
In the second transaction, Primary Wave, a leading music publishing company specializing in culturally iconic musicians and writers has signed a 10-year lease for 6,000 square feet of space located at 116 East 16th St., occupying the entire 9th floor.
“Primary Wave is expanding and relocating from their offices previously located at 275 Madison Avenue, said Mr. Furst. “Despite the economy, there are some industries that are continuing to grow.”
Mark Furst, Colliers ABR represented CPX Interactive and Primary Wave in both transactions. Herb Goldberg, from City Connections Realty Inc., represented the building at 71 West 23rd St. and Vince Sheehan, NY Space, represented the sublessor. Samco Properties is the landlord for 116 East 16th St.
