Based on a 10-year track record of successful real estate representation, Federal Express Corporation hired Colliers Houston & Co. to relocate two 100,000+ square foot distribution facilities in New Jersey. Both projects could not be accommodated in an existing facility, so a build-to-suit approach was necessary. The Mercer facility will be complete in July 2000. The Bergen facility should be complete later in the year.

W.W. Granger needed to set up an East Coast Distribution Center as part of their North American Strategic Distribution Plan. However, timing was critical. After an exhaustive search for an existing facility which met their criteria, it was determined a “build to suit” would be the only alternative. Due to the timing constraints Colliers Houston & Co. needed to identify a land site with “approvals in hand”. The challenge was met and Grainger occupied their new facility inside of 11 months.
