May 4, 2006 – Nashville, TN – William (Doug) Brandon joins Colliers Turley Martin Tucker as managing principal of the firm’s Nashville regional office. A sales management executive with 28 years of experience in leading teams and planning and implementing strategic direction, Brandon manages 100 associates who provide a range of commercial real estate services in the Nashville market.
Brandon sees an opportunity to further build the reach of Colliers Turley Martin Tucker’s regional office in Nashville.

Brandon’s experience and expertise are a good fit for Colliers Turley Martin Tucker, added Mark Burkhart, president and CEO of the St. Louis-based commercial real estate firm.

Brandon has extensive experience in managing teams and building business for several companies in different industries.
He has a wealth of experience in financial services, starting his 16-year career in this field in 1991 with J.C. Bradford. He held a number of positions during his nine years with J.C. Bradford, ultimately becoming a partner and overseeing the company’sPage Two – Brandon to manage CTMT’s Nashville office administration for its 84 branch offices in 15 states. He also served as a director of recruiting and managed the professional development of new advisors during his tenure with J.C. Bradford.
Additionally, he has managed branch offices, and sales and support staff for other financial services firms, as well as worked on business development. He most recently was with Smith Barney.
Before entering financial services, Brandon started his career in 1978 with the Volunteer Sales Co. He worked his way through the ranks – from junior account executive to senior vice president/branch manager.
Brandon will take over the duties of David McGahren, who served as the office’s acting managing principal for the past year. A principal in the firm, McGahren will focus his efforts as the leader of Colliers Turley Martin Tucker’s Nashville team of 12 industrial leasing specialists.
Brandon holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics and finance from the University of Tennessee – Chattanooga. He attended the school on a golf scholarship. During his four years on the golf team, the school was a perennial powerhouse in the Southern Conference. Still an avid golfer, Brandon carries a two handicap.
His civic and charitable commitments include past involvement with the Nashville Chamber of Commerce, United Way and St. Cecilia Academy. He also has served on the board and as president of the Hillwood Country Club. He is a deacon at the First Presbyterian Church in Nashville.
