On November, 1st British investment company Raven Russia Ltd. and Russian Avalon Group announced the launch one of the largest investment warehouse projects in Russia - Megalogix.
Megalogix is a joint venture by Raven Russia Ltd. and Avalon Group that will develop Class A warehouses totaling 1,5 million sq. m. for more than USD 1,2 billion. The project covers 15 of Russian most important commodity distributing cities. Its realization has already started in St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don and Novosibirsk. The logistics complexes in Khabarovsk, Omsk, Ekaterinburg, Ufa, Chelyabinsk, Saratov, Krasnodar and Nizhny Novgorod are scheduled to be constructed next year. Land plots in Vladivostok, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk and Samara are being under registration.
The completion of construction works in Shushary, industrial district located close to St. Petersburg is coming to the end. The complexes in Novosibirsk and Rostov-on-Don will be delivered in Q4 2008. It is expected that the whole project is to be completed by the end of 2013.
Megalogix warehouse premises are unified and will meet the highest international quality standards. The project is targeted at large end-user tenants, such as local and multinational FMCG manufacturers and leading distributors, as well as logistic operators.
International commercial real estate consultant Colliers International is co-exclusive marketing and leasing agent of the project.
