Maxim will provide the leadership of Colliers International Russia and will be responsible for all of Colliers activities in Russia which currently includes the Moscow and St. Petersburg offices. Maxim will have full financial responsibility for the company in addition to setting the vision, goals and objectives. 

In 1995 Mr Gasiev graduated from the Russian State Technology University (MATI) majoring in Physics.

From 2000 to 2004 Mr Gasiev worked at Daev Plaza development company first as Head of Development Department and then as Deputy General Director. During his career with Daev Plaza Maxim participated in such projects as the Europark shopping complex development, the Moskva hotel reconstruction, and a number of other projects in the field of office, hotel, retail, and residential real estate.

Since February 2004 Mr Gasiev joined Colliers International Moscow team as Director of Retail Property Department. In January 2007 Mr Gasiev was promoted to the position of Regional Director of Retail Property at Colliers International (Russia, Ukraine). Since 2008 he has been working as Regional Director of Capital Advisory and Retail Property Departments (Russia, Ukraine). Since November 2008 he has been holding the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO). Since May 2009 Maxim has been appointed Managing Director, Colliers International (Russia).

Mr. Gasiev has considerable experience in the field of commercial real estate. Under Mr. Gasiev’s leadership, Colliers International has been involved in a broad range of significant Moscow and regional retail projects, including shopping and entertainment centers River Mall, Tverskaya Mall, SC on Paveletskaya Square, and many others.

In the position of COO, Maxim Gasiev elaborated the company strategy according to the new reality of the market, implemented the new budgeting scheme that will help to maintain and improve Colliers International market leading position in Russia. Under his leadership the portfolio of clients’ projects has been substantially enlarged and new services have been introduced in the spheres of valuation, consulting, office and retail property.

Mr. Gasiev is an active market player and a regular participant of Russian and international conferences on commercial real estate. Maxim Gasiev is a member of the jury of the annual shopping centers’ rating by RCSC.
