On March 28, 2008, the annual professional Commercial Real Estate Saint Petersburg award ceremony was held in Smolny Cathedral, Saint Petersburg (Russia). International consulting company Colliers International was recognized as Consultant of the Year.

According to established tradition, experienced and knowledgeable leading Russian and foreign experts in the sphere of commercial real estate voted in two stages. First, the jury selected nominees through online voting. At the second stage of the competition, members of the committees gathered to discuss the list of nominees and make final decisions about each category. The projects and companies that got the highest estimates at this stage became the winners, and their names were declared at the Gala Dinner. This year the professional jury assessed the activity of the best Saint Petersburg consultants: Becar Realty Group, Colliers International, GVA Sawyer, IB Group, Jones Lang LaSalle, Knight Frank.

In accepting the award, Colliers International General Director in Saint Petersburg Boris Yushenkov said, “We wouldn’t have won without our clients, we would have had nothing to strive for without our competitors, but the Colliers International team is the most important for without them such recognition would have been really impossible.”
