Challenge

Colliers had secured a lease for a location in Monticello when the deal fell apart. Buffalo Wild Wings was counting on the Monticello store opening in 2008 as part of their commitment to open a set number of stores annually. The restaurant planning and approval process is lengthy, so in order to open by the end of they year, Buffalo Wild Wings needed to sign a new lease as soon as possible.

Solution

Colliers had to find a second location quickly in the small town of Monticello, MN that met the site selection criteria and demographics set forth by Buffalo Wild Wings.

Results

Colliers had developed a good relationship with the owner of a property located nearby, keeping in contact while going through the lease negotiations for the original site. Because of the relationship, Colliers was able to put another deal together with essentially the same terms very quickly. The restaurant will be open by the end of 2008.
