MINNEAPOLIS—(November 11, 2008)—The Minneapolis/St. Paul office of Colliers Turley Martin Tucker (Colliers), a world-wide leader of commercial real estate services, today announced that corporate solutions veteran Frank Sherwood has joined the firm as Vice President in its Corporate Solutions Division. Sherwood, along with Brian Woolsey, Duane Poppe, CCIM, David Stokes, SIOR, and Jeff Patterson, CRE, MCR, are working on new business development as part of Colliers’ Corporate Solutions initiatives in Minneapolis/St. Paul and across the globe.
Sherwood's primary role is to provide clients with leadership in the areas of strategic real estate, facilities planning, international project management, and transaction management. He has successfully completed major projects in China, Singapore, Mexico, Brazil, Denmark, England, Germany, and the Netherlands. Past and present clients include: Donaldson Company, Hormel, Patterson Companies, Medtronic, Emerson, The Schwan Food Company, Syngenta Seeds, and Walgreens.
Sherwood’s background includes twelve years experience as a corporate service provider most recently at Jones Lang LaSalle/Staubach Company. Prior to that, he was Real Estate Manager for Fisher-Rosemount (now Emerson based in St. Louis, MO). In that capacity he was responsible for a portfolio of over 500 sites in 75 countries. During his fifteen years at Emerson he held positions in engineering, operations, construction, and real estate management.

Sherwood holds an MBA in finance from the University of St. Thomas, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Iowa State. He is an active member of CoreNet Global, NAIOP- National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, and MNCAR- Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors. In 2007, he received the MNCAR award for Transaction of the Year for the 335,000 SF Walgreens Distribution Center in Rogers, MN. Sherwood also sits on the board of several organizations including NAIOP, Business Facilities Magazine, Rotary International, and Habitat for Global Learning.
