MINNEAPOLIS—(November 3, 2009)—The Minneapolis/St. Paul office of Colliers Turley Martin Tucker (Colliers), a world-wide leader of commercial real estate services, today announced that Molly Townsend of the Retail Sales and Leasing division has represented Al Larson in the lease of 3,259 square feet of retail space to Raku Japanese Restaurant at Larson’s 3939 West 50th Street building in Edina.

Raku joins other current tenants Starbucks and The Breadsmith on the first floor of Larson’s 24,580 square foot mixed-use property.  Raku is owned by one of the part-owners in the Osaka Restaurants.  The ownership has had its eye on the 50th and France location for some time, and is excited to provide a Japanese restaurant with Sushi Bar to the neighborhood.  Raku offers Japanese cuisine fusion style, with artistically presented dishes, tapas, and a sake bar.

“Residents of the 50th and France trade area have always shown great support for neighborhood restaurants,” said Townsend.  “We are excited to provide a new concept for the area.”
