MINNEAPOLIS—(May 20, 2009)—The Minneapolis/St. Paul office of Colliers Turley Martin Tucker (Colliers), a world-wide leader of commercial real estate services, today announced that the retail sales and leasing team of Andrea Christenson, SCLS and Molly Townsend have been named the exclusive leasing agents for Parasole Restaurant Holdings, a Twin Cities-based company that boasts restaurant brands such as Manny’s, Salut Bar Americain, Good Earth, Figlio, Muffuletta, Pittsburgh Blue, Chino Latino, and Burger Jones, Parasole’s newest restaurant concept, which opened on May 19th.

As agents for Parasole, Christenson and Townsend will work in conjunction with Alan Ackerberg, Parasole’s Chief Development Officer, to expand Burger Jones, and a new Good Earth fast/fresh concept in solid “A” locations throughout the Minneapolis and St. Paul greater metropolitan area.  In selecting a site, it must include a solid retail area, with good demographics and a strong lunch business.

Burger Jones is an urban burger joint and cocktail bar that features moderately priced burgers, fries, shakes and cocktails.  It is a highly approachable concept for adults and kids of all ages.  Burger Jones’ new location offers guests three distinct spaces: a streamlined dining room, a separate bar area and a spacious “dog friendly” patio overlooking Lake Calhoun.  Good Earth is a venerable natural foods restaurant that has been a mainstay for Twin Cities diners for over 30 years.  Current locations include Roseville and The Galleria in Edina.

“They are truly having a banner year,” echoed Christenson.  “First, Parasole moved Manny’s to the new W Minneapolis – The Foshay and opened W bar venues, The Living Room and Prohibition.  In addition, a new Salut debuted on Grand Avenue in St. Paul.  We’re excited to see Burger Jones take off as well.”
