MINNEAPOLIS—(May 4, 2009)—The Minneapolis/St. Paul office of Colliers Turley Martin Tucker (Colliers), a world-wide leader of commercial real estate services, today announced that Andrea Christenson, SCLS, Matt Klein, CCIM, and Kelcey McKean represented Chicago-based Tandem Developers, in the sale of 10,592 SF of retail space to Velmeir Properties, the preferred developer for CVS Pharmacy.

Tandem’s Skyscape development, located at the corner of 9th Street and Portland Avenue, has leased all but a small retail space that is designed for a restaurant/coffee shop with outdoor seating. 

“This is a huge amenity for the residents of Skyscape,” said Paul Dincin of Tandem.  “To be able to get groceries and other items in a convenient location will certainly be a draw.”

“Having a CVS Pharmacy at this location will be extremely positive for this neighborhood,” said Christenson, a second vice president with Colliers’ retail sales and leasing division.  “To have activity, lights on, and a large amount of foot traffic will create great energy for area residents.”
