THE MIRACLE MILE/ACTORS' PLAYHOUSE
The Miracle Mile/Actors' Playhouse enriches South Florida's cultural vitality with the highest quality classic and contemporary live theatre prodcuutions. It provides comprehensive education and outreach programs to multi-cultural audiences and provides a supportive and creative work environment for Florida-based theatre professionals. Further, the Miracle Theater encourages the creation and production of new works for adults and children and maintains the historic identity of its home venue, the Miracle Theatre. Donna Abaood currently serves on the Board of Directors.
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
Habitat for Humanity is a Christian ministry whose purpose is to build homes and communities in partnership with low-income families within Greater Miami by providing home ownership opportunities to low-income families in all of Miami's communities of need by building and renovating modest homes with family partners and providing them with interest-free loans for the purchase of these homes. Also, they provide opportunities to all people of conscience to volunteer and to otherwise support the building of homes and communities in partnership with low-income families. Michael T. Fay, President of Abood Wood-Fay, is a member of the Board of Directors and Abood Wood-Fay as a group takes part in the building of Habitat Homes.
THE BEACON COUNCIL
The Beacon Council is Miami-Dade County's official economic development partnership. It is charged with bringing new, job-generating investments to the community, while assisting existing businesses in their efforts to expand. By doing this, The Beacon Council facilitates the creation of quality jobs for each and every resident of Miami-Dade County. Donna Abood, Chief Executive Officer of Abood Wood-Fay Real Estate Group currently serves on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. She is also the Chairwoman of the Business Expansion Program.
THE ORANGE BOWL COMMITTEE
The Orange Bowl Committee, since its inception in 1935, has brought tourism to South Florida through the annual month long Orange Bowl Festival that is comprised of the Orange Bowl College Football Game and many other team sporting events and competitions. Each year the OBC awards top students college scholarship. During the 2001 National Championship game, the festival injected more than $107 million into the economy of the South Florida Community, where the OBC is always at work to benefit and aid students and young citizens. Michael T. Fay, President of Abood Wood-Fay, was the youngest member ever elected to the OBC. Both he and Thomas D. Wood, Jr. have served on the Board of Directors. They have served on numerous committees including the Host Committee each festival season and Fellowship of Christian Athletes Prayer Breakfast.
THE JUNIOR ORANGE BOWL COMMITTEE
The Junior Orange Bowl Committee claims the honor of being known as the “Largest International Youth Sports and Arts Festival”. The annual youth parade is the grand finale of the annual festival that includes 20 sports, art, and music competitions and events for children from 5 to 18. The Junior Orange Bowl Committee is a fully volunteer operated organization that remains committed and dedicated to the youth of South Florida and the world by providing opportunities for wholesome, competitive, and multi-cultural experiences.
CORAL GABLES CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
Established in 1925, the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce is an invaluable resource for information, business promotion, and networking opportunities for over 1,800 representatives of successful businesses. At the Gables Chamber, they don't just talk about the future - they shape it. Their mission is "To foster and enhance the economic interests and quality of life in the Coral Gables community." Donna Abood, Chief Executive Officer, is a past chairwoman of the Chamber and Carol Ellis-Cutler is currently Vice Chairman of the International Affairs Division. Both members of our team have devoted extensive hours to the Chamber.

CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) is a commercial real estate association dedicated to delivering diversified information and expertise to its members and the business community with a focus on networking and business development. Grace Blanco, Commercial Associate, serves as the Vice President /Member Services of the local chapter.
THE INSTITUTE OF REAL ESTATE MANAGEMENT (IREM)
The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), an affiliate of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS, is an association of property and asset managers who have met the strict criteria in the areas of education, experience, and ethics. Founded in 1933, IREM’s mission is to educate real estate managers, certify their competence and professionalism, serve as an advocate on issues affecting the real estate management industry, and enhance its members’ professional competence so they can better identify and meet the needs those who use their services.
