South Florida Leadership

Donna Abood, Chief Executive Officer, is an expert in leasing and managing commercial real estate projects with 27 years of experience. She has been honored as an “Ultimate CEO” in Miami, Business Woman of the Year by the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce and named one of Real Estate Forum’s 2009 National Women of Influence.

Michael T. Fay, President, is an expert in investment sales and commercial real estate advisory services and one of South Florida’s lead deal makers. Thanks to his 27 years of workout experience, our firm is at the front line of the distressed market, currently working with over 40 different lending institutions and special servicers.

Thomas D. Wood, Jr., Chief Operating Officer, is a mortgage and financing specialist who runs the day-to-day operations and oversees the firm’s strategic growth. He has more than 25 years of experience in commercial mortgage lending, and is also President of one of South Florida’s largest commercial banking firms, Thomas D. Wood & Company.

Our History

Colliers International South Florida began as Abood Wood-Fay Real Estate Group when two local, highly respected and well established firms, Abood & Associates, Inc. and Wood-Fay Realty Group merged. Abood & Associates, Inc. was a full service real estate firm providing leasing, sales, property management and general construction services in South Florida. Wood-Fay Realty Group, Inc. was a highly specialized commercial real estate brokerage firm whose activities included the sale of commercial and investment properties and advisory services for their clients. The merger was a logical progression as the principals of the firms realized the synergies possible when combined as one.

In 2005, Abood Wood-Fay took the next step in its commitment to servicing its clients by joining the Colliers International team and became Colliers Abood-Wood Fay. In 2010, the firm joined a global rebranding and officially became Colliers International South Florida.
