Colliers International announced today that Mr. Richard Kirke has been appointed as the Managing Director of Hong Kong, effective immediately.  Richard will lead the 13 local business lines that serve the challenging real estate market in Hong Kong and Macau.

Richard is a dynamic and competitive real estate professional from New Zealand.  During his time with CBRE, he rose from being an industrial broker to the Managing Director of the office in North Auckland in two years.  While head of the office, it more than tripled its revenue and they established two new valuation business lines, Commercial and Hotel & Leisure. In January 2008, he took up the role of National Director of the Private Client Group to provide agency service as well as complete commercial property service through the Asset Services and Valuation teams.   He was involved in various landmark deals in New Zealand.
