The property was located in the Partido de Florencio Varela area just south of Buenos Aires.
Challenge
The client asked Colliers International to take charge of the sale of their plant at a critical moment in Argentina. Colliers began a difficult negotiation with Casasco Laboratories in December of 2001 with the objective of securing the best possible price.
Results
Colliers was able to quickly perform a market study, taking into consideration the great variations that the marketing was showing. A financial analysis was also performed in order to evaluate the variations in price according to existing alternative in payment form. After a successful negotiation, in March of 2001 Colliers International was able to reach an agreement between the two parties securing a very reasonable sale price despite market conditions.
