What to know about leasing in Jakarta
Leasing and Contractual Considerations
Jakarta is unique in that to rent a house or apartment, a minimum of one to three year lease has to be signed, and paid for in its entirety. This is a very serious commitment. All conditions must therefore be agreed upon and in-place before signing the contract and transferring any money to the landlord.
