SBI reduced prime lending rates by 0.5 percent
As reported by the Economic Times, State bank of India reduced its prime lending rates by 50 basis points to be effective from June 29. After the reduction the bank’s effective PLR would come down to 11.75 percent. The reduction would have its effect on 62 percent of loans disbursed by the bank however it would apply to loans under special scheme.

Maharashtra Government cleared Dharavi redevelopment master plan
The state government of Maharashtra has given green signal to the Dharavi redevelopment project proposal prepared by architect Mukesh Mehta, who was appointed for the project. As reported by the Tribune, the state government will now shortlist five consortia of builders to develop the slum cluster from the group of 14 bidders who have submitted their technical bids.
