DDA expressed its interest to purchase 333 units in Emaar MGF’s Games village for INR 700 crore
As reported in The Financial Express, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has expressed willingness to buy out 333 luxury apartments in Emaar MGF’s Commonwealth Games Village project for INR 700 crore.
According to Neemo Dhar, DDA spokesperson, the authority would purchase the flats at INR 11,000 per sq ft, which is much below the rates charged by Emaar MGF from the open market buyers.

Ginger Hotels to add 11 budget hotels across the country
Tata Group’s subsidiary, Ginger Hotels, is planning to make an investment worth INR 100 crore for developing 11 budget hotels across the country. The hotel chain is planning to add 1,100 rooms by December 2010, states Business Standard.
