September 11, 2006: Colliers International India is happy to announce its alliance with World Vision, as its Community Care Partner, to assist in their goal to help communities lead a better life.

Through this partnership, each member of the Colliers International India team would be committing a share of their resources in terms of time, effort and collective finance to make a difference to the community. The projects that the team members across India would be personally involved in include helping in the construction and maintenance of schools, homes and hospitals.

Through this initiative, the Colliers International teams hope to work together on a project that would make a difference to the future of the community. This partnership would also hopefully provide the team with a view of how future meaningful projects related to their work and day-to-day activities could be undertaken to further improve the community environment.

About World Vision:

Children are the focus of World Vision’s work. World Vision builds capacity and empowers families and communities around the children to give them a wholesome life filled with hope, dignity, justice and peace. World Vision also responds to major disasters around the country to provide much needed relief and rehabilitation.

Their unique way of doing this is through integrated development programmes that bring about lasting change in the communities. Each ADP touches the lives of 20,000 to 1,00,000 people. World Vision makes a difference in more than 5,000 communities through its 167 ADPs spread over 24 states around the country.
