Colliers International's Houston Office is pleased to announce "DEAL OF THE YEAR" .  Charles H. Herder, SIOR and Gary Mabray, SIOR received this prestigious award at the annual Colliers International Sales Conference in Montreal, Canada October 25, 2003.  Colliers International represented Westheimer Transfer & Storage in completing a sequence of transactions, starting with the acquisition of land for a new office/warehouse complex.  Upon assignment of the land contract to a local developer, Colliers entered into a competitive bid process for a build-to-suit project to be based on a 15-year lease.  With the new facility completed, Colliers then turned its attention to the disposition of the client's existing location at the Southwest corner of Kirby and the Southwest Freeway, one of the most sought after properties in the city of Houston.  The property was ultimately sold to a local investor.
