October 3, 2008, Honolulu, Hawaii – Colliers Monroe Friedlander is pleased to announce two new appointments to the Kamehameha Schools Property Management Team.  David Asakura will lead the team as Account Manager.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Asakura was the Manager of Information Systems and Facilities for the Honolulu office of one of the nation’s leading engineering and architecture design firms.  This diverse experience allows him to bring a unique perspective to the team with his valuable Information Technology, Building Engineering and Facilities Management background.  Maria Chan, a Senior Associate with the firm has been appointed as Lease Administrator.  Maria has had extensive experience as a landlord representative and client advisory services.  Previously, Maria practiced law as a Solicitor in Hong Kong specializing in real estate sales and leasing. She brings a unique perspective to transactions with valuable legal background.
