As part of Colliers' continuous efforts to strengthen the business in Asia through specialisation, a dedicated Hotels and Leisure team is now in place to expand the services in this particular sector.

Three strategic appointments have been made, among them Mr. Keith Humphreys, Director; Ms Lilian Tang, Manager; and Ms Holly Wan, Analyst. The team aims to deliver professional advice on all types of hospitality properties in the Asian region, and to ensure consistent and high quality services across the region.

Keith Humphreys, Director of Hotels & Leisure, has over 30 years of experience in the real estate field, with 25 years spent in Asia.  Before joining Colliers International in 2005, Keith had held various senior positions in both property and hospitality groups, and had handled a wide variety of projects in many locations. He was the Managing Director of Keith Humphreys and Associates, and held senior roles in FPDSavills, HSH and the Hong Kong SAR Government. 

Under Keith’s leadership, the Hotels & Leisure team includes Ms Lilian Tang, Manager, and Ms Holly Wan, Analyst.

As an integral part of expanding its operations and services, the Hotels & Leisure team intends to appoint representatives in the main Colliers offices in the Asian region over the coming months.  Such a move will allow the team to deliver timely services to a wide range of clients, including institutional hotel owners, investors, independent owners and financial institutions.

In 2007, the Hotels team completed key projects in different locations in Asia.  For example, it undertook work on six islands in The Maldives for an investment bank client.  In Japan, it completed a project that resulted in the listing on the AIM in London of a portfolio of hotels.  The team was also appointed to prepare a market study, valuation and feasibility study on a 90-hectare site in Hainan, China for an entity related to the Kazakhstan Government.  In addition, the team completed other assignments in Guam, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Bali and Pakistan.
