Hartford, CT

Winstanley Enterprises has signed long-term leases with Stop & Shop and Crazy Bruce’s Liquors for occupancy at the recently approved retail/office development Elmwood Square, located at 176  Newington Road in West Hartford. Nicholas R. Morizio, SIOR, CRE of Colliers Dow and Condon represented both parties in this transaction. Mr. Morizio was also the sole broker involved in the sale of the property to Winstanley Enterprises in 2008.

Winstanley Enterprises will spend $12 million dollars on the demolition and clean-up of the former factory site and on the construction of approximately 73,000 square feet of retail space.

Construction should begin in the fall and may be completed sometime in 2010.
