Colliers,in its capacity as preferred supplier of real estate services across the EMEA, were appointed to advise this leading IT company on the cost savings potential of its EMEA portfolio.  The portfolio comprises of in excess of 120 property interests or over 1.4 million square feet of office space in 30 countries.

Colliers worked with the client undertaking a strategic review of current occupational costs, critical dates and exit opportunities.  By developing a new occupational space metric across each line of business, Colliers were able to identify annual savings in excess of US$15 million together with a reduction in total occupied space of approximately 30%.

Colliers are now working to implement the approach developed to achieve the cost reductions identified in the initial study.  Projects are now underway in Austria, Norway and Spain.
