Dayton, Ohio

Fifteen Dayton-area companies have been named to the 2009 Best Places to Work list by the Dayton Business Journal.

The companies this year include several repeat winners, as well as new companies to the list. There were nearly 50 entries this year, and each company had to register for their employees to take an online survey about their workplace. The results of the surveys were used to give each company a score and they were ranked in numerical order. There are three companies on the list classified as large, two classified as medium and 10 in the small category.

The winners will be honored at an awards banquet March 12 at the Schuster Center in downtown Dayton. Dan Edwards, WDTN-TV Channel 2 anchor, will serve again this year as emcee for the evening’s festivities. For information on registration to attend the event, call (937) 528-4400.

Each company also will be featured in a special publication inserted in the March 13 edition of the Dayton Business Journal.
