Cassidy & Pinkard Colliers today announced that it arranged the sale of 401 East Market Street, a 35,719 square foot lot located at the corner of Route 7 and Catoctin Circle in Leesburg, Virginia. Phil Mudd, Jayne Shister and Christopher Woods of Cassidy & Pinkard Colliers represented the seller, Johnson’s Charcoal Beef House Associates and Fletchers /Sadak, Inc. Chevy Chase Bank purchased the site.

401 East Market, currently the site of Johnson’s Charcoal Beef House, commands a prominent position at one of the central access points to historic downtown Leesburg. The land presents an excellent development opportunity for a high visibility pad site due to its corner frontage and Leesburg market location, which boasts a retail vacancy rate of 0.8 percent. Chevy Chase Bank will build a new branch with a drive-through on the site.
