Challenge
Learfield needed space in which to operate South Carolina Radio Network, a subsidiary that will broadcast all University South Carolina sports broadcasts. They required a prominent location as well as close proximity to the University of South Carolina and South Carolina State Capitol complex. The preferred design for the space faced challenges in that Learfield required retail frontage, prominent site signage, traditional office space and a state-of-the-art production studio in a downtown environment

Results
Summers provided lease negotiations and worked in tandem with architects and the landlord to ensure that the final space was exactly what the client required. A lease was executed between the owner of The Tower at 1301 Main Street and Learfield Sports, providing ground-floor retail visibility, the required proximity to USC and the State Capitol, as well as space for administrative operations.
