On January 1, 2008, Clifford West (Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Land Development Services at Colliers Ostendorf-Morris) assumed the appointed role as the Urban Land Institute's District Council Chair, which is a five year term.  Cliff will bring his own style and enthusiasm to new ideas, providing leadership in the use of land in order to create and sustain communities world wide.

Colliers Ostendorf-Morris is pleased to announce David O'Neill and Brian Lenahan as members to the outstanding group, The Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR).  The SIOR designation is a personal achievement for those individuals who are highly qualified commercial real estate practitioners with a strong transactional history in brokerage, fee-based services, or executive management.  SIOR welcomes as members, those real estate professionals who meet its significant qualifications and requirements for membership. 

Alex Pedgarney, a 45 year employee with the firm, was recently successful in the sale of a $1.75M property to Karas Realty located on E. 49th Street in Cuyahoga Heights, Ohio.  This is a testament, not only to Alex's great experience, but also to his incredible persistence in completing transactions. 

We are pleased to announce that our Real Estate Management Services (REMS) team will be managing the Fairlawn Office Park I, located at 703 Cleveland Massillon Road in Fairlawn, Ohio.  This is a brand new 50,000 square foot, four-story building, which will be occupied entirely by Veyance Technologies, Inc.  David O'Neill and Barry Holtzer  represented Veyance in the leasing of the facility and gave the introduction to the ownership regarding REMS Services.



Clifford West was appointed Urban Land Institute's (ULI) Incoming Chairman for Northeast Ohio, while he is also currently serving on the Board of Directors.  Kevin Riley was recently appointed Urban Land Institute's Young Leaders Group Chairman.

Colliers Ostendorf-Morris' Julie Iselin, Joseph Martanovic, Michael Occhionero, and David O'Neill completed a 784,088 square foot industrial sale for $7M in Buenos Aires, Argentina for the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.  This transaction was featured in the Colliers International Multiple City Assignment Newsletter.


Conor Coakley and Clifford West are partnering with the Colliers International Toronto Office, to represent Cedar Fair in the sealed bid of Geauga Lake Park.  The bid packages will be available by mid to late November of 2007.  Over 500 acres of land and a hotel will be marketed in early 2008.
