Colliers Ostendorf-Morris Announces Exclusive Listing for
One Cleveland Center 

Cleveland – October 2, 2008 – Colliers Ostendorf-Morris, Ohio's largest full-service commercial real estate company, has retained the exclusive listing for One Cleveland Center, a Class-A, 534,000-square-foot building at 1375 E. 9th Street. Miami-based Optima International recently purchased the building for $86.3 million in May 2008.

The listing rights galvanize Colliers Ostendorf-Morris’s substantial presence in the downtown market for office space.  Optima is exploring renovations, such as reconfiguring the outside plaza at the southeast corner of St. Clair Avenue and E. 9th Street, and updating One Cleveland Center’s three-story lobby.

Colliers Ostendorf-Morris’ Senior Vice President and Colliers Manager Thomas Gustafson, and Kevin Riley, vice president of office services are the exclusive leasing agents for the chisel-shaped, 31-story skyscraper.

“With the 29th and 30th floors becoming available early in 2009, One Cleveland Center will be able to offer a prominent tenant 40,000 square feet of the best office space in Cleveland’s Central Business District,” Riley says. “It has 360-degree views unequaled by many other spaces in town.” 

One Cleveland Center was Optima’s first major Class-A office tower acquisition. In July, the company, which is the U.S. branch of a Ukrainian company mainly involved in manufacturing and real estate in Eastern Europe, bought 55 Public Square for $35 million, the former home of the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Co.
