Challenge

Due to a slumping economy, PED Technologies, manufacturers of heat treating equipment, decided to close its North American operations and dispose of its facility in Hebron, Kentucky, after just three years.

Solution

PED Technologies hired the O'Connell, Bender & Powers team (OBP) to dispose of this asset.  OBP prsented the opportunity to its list of approximately 2,000 contacts and potential users.  They located one of their previous clients who was leasing space but due to the planned growth of their operations, took advantage of low interest rates and create financing to acquire this Class A facility.
