Three Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler Inc. (Colliers B&K) professionals were honored with awards at the annual Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS® (SIOR) Chicago Chapter luncheon held on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at the Rosewood Restaurant in Rosemont. In 2007, 58 members of the Chicago SIOR Chapter completed a total of 92 cooperative transactions with a value of more than $646 million.

For the second consecutive year, Lynn E. Reich, SIOR, CCIM and Executive Vice President in Colliers B&K’s Industrial Service Group, was the recipient of the “Largest Number of Inter-Chapter Transactions” award, completing a total of 7 with members of other SIOR chapters. These transactions include a 499,200-square-foot lease she negotiated on behalf of DSC Logistics in Romeoville, IL. The transaction was completed in cooperation with Chris Volkert, SIOR, also with Colliers B&K.

Ronald J. Behm, SIOR is a Principal within Colliers B&K’s Industrial Services Group. For the fourth consecutive year he was the recipient of the “Most Intra-Chapter Industrial Transactions” award for completing 10 industrial transactions in cooperation with other SIOR Chicago members. These include the 360,709-square-foot lease on behalf of AMB Property Corporation at 1600 Central Avenue in Roselle, IL. Cooperating on the transaction were Jeffrey J. Kapcheck, SIOR with Colliers B&K and Chris Lydon, SIOR with AMB.

Kevin L. Clifton, SIOR, Principal in Colliers B&K’s Office Advisory Group, was the winner of the “Largest Dollar Volume Transaction – Office” award for his representation of CF Industries in an 85,000-square-foot build-to-suit valued at $23 million. He worked in cooperation with Gerald O’Malley, SIOR, of CarrAmerica.

David L. Liebman, SIOR, Senior Associate in Colliers B&K Industrial Services Group, is the chapter’s Admissions Chair. Additionally, Reich recently began her term as national SIOR Vice President and will assume the role of President in 2009.
