Lynn E. Reich, SIOR, CCIM, Executive Vice President with Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler Inc.'s Industrial Services Group, received the Career Achievement Award at the First Annual Women in Real Estate luncheon held on September 10, 2008 by Chicago Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and Illinois Real Estate Journal.  Nearly 300 attendees witnessed Ms. Reich receive the award, including six fellow nominees.

"We are very proud of Lynn's accomplishments and this recognition from her peers is validation of the high level of character she has exhibited throughout her career," said David Kahnweiler, SIOR, Chairman and CEO of Colliers B&K.

Over the past 29 years Ms. Reich has built a loyal customer base, and in the process has completed 40 million square feet of transactions with a value of $750 million.  She has represented such notable firms as The Rockefeller Group, Staples, Lennar Properties, Seal, Inc., Land and Lakes Development, Federal Express, Allianz of America, ML Realty Partners, Northern Builders, AMB Realty, CenterPoint Properties Trust, and DSC Logistics.  In addition to her transaction success, Ms. Reich has held leadership roles in the industry's most well-known organizations.  She was President of AIRE in 1989, President of CREW in 1995, President of the local SIOR Chapter in 2000, and President of the SIOR Foundation, a 501(c) (3), in 2006.  Her relationship with SIOR has since extended internationally.  She is currently serving as the international Vice President of SIOR, and will begin her term as President in 2009, a role held by only one other woman throughout the organization's 67-year history.
