Company Looks to Maximize its Investment in Real Estate

St. Louis, MO – December 18, 2008 – Furniture Brands International has hired Colliers Corporate Solutions to provide strategic advisory services, lease administration, transaction management and construction management services. The three-year agreement includes offices for Furniture Brands primary brands, manufacturing and distribution facilities, and retail stores operated by the company.

Furniture Brands expanded its space by 40 percent while keeping its lease costs comparable to its former site. Jim Mosby and Scott Bazoian, brokers for Colliers Turley Martin Tucker, worked with Brumbaugh on the relocation not far from its former headquarters.
