The supply of contemporary office real estate in Sofia continues to grow and reached a total inventory of Class A and B office space of 759,000 m2 in the first half of 2008. This marked a moderate 7% increase (equivalent of 54,000 m2) compared to the second half of 2007.

Varna Office Market 2nd Half of 2008
The office market in Varna is still in the early stages of development, though it is starting to shape up. While a few years ago there was no stock of Class A or B office space, contemporary office buildings are now emerging.

Sofia Office Market 2nd Half of 2007
The total stock of multi-tenant and speculative space continues to grow at a steady pace. The total inventory of Class A and B space amounts to 606,500 m2 with the majority located in the suburban areas. This represents a 10% increase in the first half of 2007.

The retail market still develops in a fast pace with an ever increasing emphasis on the shopping mall format. A number of projects are under construction and will be completed in 2009/2010.
