Business Park Sofia is the largest business park development in Southeast Europe. It spreads over 220,000 m2 of land, and comprises 35 buildings, totaling 300,000 m2 of office, retail and storage space. In 2007 the final stage of development was completed and the project now accommodates more than 300 companies and 10,000 employees.
Colliers has been the exclusive real estate consultant of the project ever since its inception in 2000. When the developer, German construction company Lindner AG, decided to exit the project, Colliers was appointed as a consultant on the investment sale as well. In cooperation with the Colliers office in Munich, we successfully structured and concluded what was the largest ever real estate investment transaction in Bulgaria and indeed the region. Colliers created a competitive environment for the property, which includes a large portfolio of buildings – fully-operational, under construction and planned – worth a total of €180 million.
