Case Study: Boston Wharf

Colliers International Boston was retained by Boston Wharf Co. to sell 14 buildings in the Fort Point Channel District. Colliers International Boston success-fully executed the sale of 10 buildings, fully leased to investment-grade tenant Thomson Financial on a long-term basis, for $92,000,000 in June 2004. The buyer was a foreign client of the HDG Mansur Group.

In addition, Colliers International Boston successfully executed the sale of the four remaining multi-tenanted buildings at 253 Summer Street for $34,000,000 in February 2005 to a private investor with a need for a "1031" tax deferred exchange. These four interconnected buildings, which were 92% leased at sale, offer spectacular views of the city and have long-term residential or mixed-use potential.
