Relocated a division of the world's largest insurer within three blocks of another AEGON company.
Due to internal growth, AEGON Special Markets Group, a subsidiary of AEGON USA, needed to relocate from a corporate owned facility and into nearby leased space.
Challenge The challenge was to locate class “A” space including all the amenities of a corporate-owned facility at a competitive rent structure in close proximity to another AEGON USA company.

- Available office buildings within a twenty mile radius of Baltimore were toured and considered during a one-year process.
Results
- Colliers Pinkard located a long-term sublease available at 20% of the market rate, with an in-building parking garage, employee cafeteria, and 20,000 square feet available for future expansion.
- Colliers Pinkard negotiated a lease for a 250-car parking lot directly adjacent to the building.
- Real estate problems were solved for both AEGON and the subleasor as the building had been available for two years.
- The building was only three blocks from the other AEGON USA company.
