Charlotte, NC
By providing a total solutions package, Colliers Pinkard was able to maximize the value and minimize ramp-up time in taking this product to market.
As a result of Winn Dixie's bankruptcy, Wachovia Securities needed to dispose of numerous vacant distribution centers. Colliers Pinkard represented the sale of a one-million-square-foot facility in Charlotte encompassing numerous buildings. The enormity of the property and stale reputation of the then single-tenanted space posed challenges in presenting it for sale. By positioning it as a multi-tenant facility and managing the bid process, Colliers Pinkard helped secure a competitive offer from one of 13 potential buyers.
Our Commitment:
- During the sales process, we secured a new 250,000-square-foot lease
- After the sale, we were selected to manage and lease the property for its new owner, Westmount
- Re-branded the facility as Logistics Pointe Distribution Center and managed numerous improvements including an entry drive, monument signs, installation of flag poles and painting
Our Value:
By providing a total solutions package, including servicing the sale, leasing and management of the facility, Colliers Pinkard was able to maximize ramp-up time in taking this "rebuilt" product to market.
