Colliers Pinkard of Charlotte represented developer Corinthian Properties in the lease of 35,642 square feet in West Winds Business Park.  CPS Color Equipment, Inc. moved their operations from southwest Charlotte to the high-end flex space, located across from the Concord Regional Airport on Derita Road.

“The fact that CPS Color Equipment chose to move from the southwest Charlotte industrial market to Concord illustrates the appeal of West Winds Business Park,” said John Wharton of Colliers Pinkard who brokered the deal with John Cashion and David Dorsch. “CPS Color Equipment wanted to increase their exposure with a better quality space.  The move is expected to boost employee morale and retention, as well as increase the company’s corporate image among its clients.  And it just so happened that the most high-end flex building available in the Charlotte area market is located in Concord.”  Gary Stephens with Southeast Commercial Real Estate represented CPS.

Daniel Bush, President-Americas for CPS Color, noted, “The opening of the Americas Center at Concord represents the culmination of nearly eighteen months of transition for CPS Color in the Americas.  We are committed to developing increasingly closer relationships with our customers, as well as establishing CPS Color as the clear and consistent leader in total color solutions.” 

He then added that, “The Americas Center at Concord will reflect this commitment to tinting solutions and color marketing. The Center also features a new showroom to demonstrate our current products and newest innovations.  We are planning an open house in the spring, and are eager to host visitors in the new Americas Center at Concord.”

The West Wind Business Park is currently expanding, with the addition of a new, 48,414 square foot building that will be mezzanine ready up to 64,685 square feet.  The developer of this building is also constructing a spec office just across the street at the Concord Airport Business Park totaling 10,256 square feet.
