The Valuation Group was one of five firms awarded a five year contract with the U.S. Department of State (DOS) to provide real estate valuation and consulting services with regards to anything, anywhere in the world.

DOS operates in 176 countries and 260 cities throughout the world.  They have approximately 75,000 employees and 18,000 properties comprising 71 million square feet of space.  The estimated value of their real estate holdings approaches $20 billion.  DOS plans to add 150 new embassy compounds over the next 14 years.     

Terry R. Dunkin, MAI, SRA, CRE, Senior Vice President and Department Head of Colliers Pinkard Valuation Group is the Executive Director overseeing the project.  Mr. Dunkin is the Immediate Past President of the Appraisal Institute and is currently serving as the Chair of the Appraisal Institute’s International Committee.  Gary R. Anglemyer, MAI, Deputy Director of the project authored the proposal and has managed all of the projects to date.
