1922: Walter Clyde Pinkard opened W.C. Pinkard & Co., a small real estate office in Baltimore, MD, concentrating on rural and residential real estate.

1945: Walter Devier Pinkard joined his father’s firm.

1975: Walter D. Pinkard, Jr. (Wally) joined the family firm.

1982: Wally Pinkard elected President of the firm.

Launched appraisal, consulting and investment sales departments.

Opened ownership of firm to key professionals outside the family.

1983: Opened Columbia and Towson, Maryland offices.

1984: Joined Colliers International Property Consultants.

1990-1994: Wally Pinkard served as Chairman of Colliers USA.

1994-1995: W.C. Pinkard & Co. changed its trading name to Colliers Pinkard. 

Firm’s principals play leadership roles within the global Colliers organization.

Corporate Services department created.

Ownership in firm more than doubled.

1998: Charlotte, North Carolina office formed.

1999: Opened Raleigh, North Carolina office.

2001-2002: Wally Pinkard served as Global Chairman of Colliers International.

2003: David Gillece named President of firm.

2006: David Finger joins firm as head of Raleigh office, launches Corporate Solutions and Investment Services groups in Raleigh.

2007: Wally Pinkard named Chairman of Colliers USA for the second time.

2008: Consolidated with Colliers Turley Martin Tucker, Cassidy & Pinkard Colliers and Colliers ABR.
