As one of Colliers International | Atlanta’s senior principals, Russ has extensive experience in representing office tenants in the Atlanta Metropolitan area. He actively works with clients to understand their needs, and to assist them in defining their requirements and budget parameters. He then utilizes a strategic/analytical process that allows the market forces to work, ultimately allowing the highest value and most flexible options to emerge. During the past 26 years, Russ has completed complex transactions totaling more than four million square feet for clients such as General Electric Corporation, LeasePlan, The Hartford, American Management Association International, Crown Castle International, Fiberlight, Buckhead Capital and Birch Communications.Prior to joining Colliers in 1990, Russ worked for CB Richard Ellis and Portman Barry Investments, Inc. He also worked for Ford Motor Company and Xerox Corporation where he specialized in account management and sales management. Russ served as an Infantry Squad leader in the United States Army and did a one-year combat tour in Vietnam. He is an Executive Board Member of the Atlanta Vietnam Veteran’s Business Association a past board member of the Ansley Park Civic Association. Russ is also a co-chairman of the Membership Committee, a member of the Grounds Committee at the Ansley Golf Club as well as a member of Japan America Society of Georgia. He serves as a deacon at the Peachtree Christian Church.
