Traditionally, office landlords have scrutinized the credit of potential corporate tenants. But, in today's world of plummeting real estate values and distressed buildings, the shoe is on the other foot. Tenants are now checking the credits of the building owners, said Charles Swain, president of Colliers Spectrum Cauble Management.
