The following is an account of the Atlanta market's top five retail lease transactions for third quarter 2009.
Costco signed a new lease at Town Brookhaven in Atlanta for 148,000 square feet with The Sembler Co. Two of the other top five deals occurred at this development. Publix signed for 56,820 square feet and LA Fitness took 45,018 square feet. Steven St. Paul represented the landlord, in-house, in all three deals.
Andretti Speed Lab renewed its 97,000-square-foot lease at 11000 Alpharetta Highway in Alpharetta. Gail Fargason of The Shopping Center Group represented the landlord in the deal.
Goodwill signed a 44,664-square-foot lease at Merchant's Crossing in Oakwood, GA. Coleman Morris of Colliers Spectrum Cauble represented the landlord. Henry Poer of Poer Realty represented Goodwill in the transaction.
