Community Involvement
Since 2004, Colliers International - Atlanta has contributed over $250,000 to these community building charities.
Camp Sunshine – Camp Sunshine enriches the lives of children with cancer and their families through recreational, educational and support programs allowing them to share similar experiences and to participate in activities that promote normal childhood development as they cope with the challenges of childhood cancer.
The Study Hall – The Study Hall is a long range, after school program designed to help the seriously at risk child grow out of a negative and isolated atmosphere and into a world of knowledge and self esteem through education and enrichment activities.
The Ronald McDonald House – This organization serves as a “home away from home” that provides temporary lodging for the families of critically ill and injured children.
The Center for the Visually Impaired – The Center for the Visually Impaired is Georgia’s only comprehensive program that serves individuals of all ages who are blind or visually impaired. Their mission is to provide individuals with the skills and attitudes needed to achieve independence with dignity.
Midtown Assistance Center / Every Cent Counts – This interfaith ministry, supported by Midtown congregations and businesses, provides emergency assistance to the working poor of Midtown to forestall homelessness and poverty during periods of crisis.
United Way - The United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta serves 4.1 million people in the 13-county metro region by uniting, focusing and mobilizing the strengths of metro Atlanta’s finest companies, nonprofit groups, faith-based organizations, government agencies and caring individuals.
Woodruff Arts Center – Considered the “heartbeat of Atlanta's arts community,” the Woodruff Arts Center is a dynamic center for the visual and performing arts, and includes the Alliance Theatre, High Museum of Art, Young Audiences, 14th Street Playhouse and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
Wounded Warrior Project - Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to honor and empower wounded warriors. WWP seeks to assist those men and women of our armed forces who have been severely injured during the conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other locations around the world.
