Mark Nickerson has been with the firm since 1998.  Originally an Operations Manager for Abood & Associates Management, Mr. Nickerson was promoted to his current position, Director of Operations.   His responsibilities include the oversight of the day-to-day operations for all properties under Colliers Abood Wood-Fay Management.  He is also responsible for any on-site construction and all on-site property personnel.  Nickerson’s understanding of his position is enhanced by the fact that he is a Certified Indoor Air Quality Technician and he has his Florida Real Estate Salesman’s License. 

Mr. Nickerson also brings to the firm a vast experience in the area of construction management.  Previously a Construction Superintendent with Nickerson Construction, he specialized in interior office renovations.  His knowledge and expertise in this area enable him to efficiently complete renovations in his buildings and to allow tenants to occupy their premises promptly. 

Active in the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), Nickerson has served as a judge of The Office Building of the Year (TOBY) Award. The TOBY Award is the most prestigious and coveted award in the commercial real estate industry. It honors buildings demonstrating excellence in building management, operational efficiency, tenant retention, emergency planning and community impact. 

Mr. Nickerson is married to Ana Castro and has 2 teenage children.  He currently resides in Miami and enjoys following the stock market.
